The CY Decor Market 2015 kicks off today and you are invited to take flight. The venue for this year’s market is Welbeloond Farm in Durbanville and it is an event not to be missed. The CY Market is a feast for the eyes, ears and tastebuds. At the market you will find beautiful treasures ranging from antiques, brooches and tea towels to notebooks, beaded jewellery and handmade toys. Make sure to go with an empty tummy as there will be delicious eats and drinks available at the fresh food market and deli. There will also be loads of entertainment for the kids including go-karts, water walking balls, a target shooting range, jumping castles and sand art. And don’t forget the soft serve and cotton candy! The theme of this year’s market is FLIGHT… Let’s go fly this year. Start to soar through life! Do things that fill each day with hope and joy. Do not allow your wings to be clipped. When you start flying it is difficult at first, but slowly test your wings and try new things. You will become stronger until you are able to soar high through the clouds. Life is to be lived, to experience and feel the wind blow through your feathers. Grasp each moment to be creative and share yourself with people. We want to inspire you and take you forward to new flight and to new life. Think pastel colours, picnics with good friends, lazy afternoons and kite flying. Big air balloons in all shapes and colours. Lying on your back in green pastures looking at majestic clouds, dreaming about...

Disney On Ice is in Cape Town!

Thanks to Grand West, Showtime Management and a Twitter giveaway, my sister and I got the chance to see our little girls’ gasp with excitement and wave till their little arms felt numb when their favourite Disney princesses skated past at Disney On Ice yesterday. Disney on Ice opened at the Grand Arena, Grand West in Cape Town yesterday and it’s a treat for young and old. Disney on Ice Let’s Celebrate is one huge party on ice and you can expect to see a Halloween haunt with the Disney Villains, a royal ball with the Disney princesses, a Hawaiian luau with Lilo and Stitch, and much, much more. Here are a couple of pics courtesy of Disney and Feld Entertainment to give you an idea: The show is only running until this Sunday, so you better hurry over to Computicket and get your tickets ASAP. xoxo...
