The awesome people at PrintWild treated me to a voucher and gave me the opportunity to turn precious images into Faceblocks and Magna Tots. I knew I would love them, but the products totally exceeded my expectations.
PrintWild has been creating canvas prints and canvas stretched frames since 2003. With a family history in photography and photographic printing, they tailor ready-to-hang wall art on a wide collection of printed media and framing techniques.

Your favourite images are professionally cropped into 15cm x 15cm squares, printed onto high-quality fine art matte paper, and then mounted on shutterply board. The end result is gorgeous.
They are delivered ready-to-mount with an industrial hook and loop mounting system which allows for super easy positioning and even swapping of artwork. They are perfect for photo walls, gifts or special event decor.
Another great thing about Faceblocks is that you don’t have to mount them if you don’t want to. I’ve chosen to display mine on a cabinet… they stand on their own and give a fabulous frameless effect. LOVE! Faceblocks go for R106 each and it’s a steal.
I also ordered a couple of Magna Tots. Magna Tots are personalised fridge magnets that looks amazing on your fridge or any magnetic surface. Your image is professionally cropped and printed onto glossy paper and then face-mounted to 3mm acrylic squares sized 70mm x 70mm. Magna Tots cost R42 each and make perfect gifts.

The PrintWild PhotoBox! Turn your favourite photos into a beautiful PhotoBox full of memories.
The PhotoBox is a hand-crafted timber box with a high-gloss magnetised, acrylic lid. I think it’s stunning. The box fits 50 A5 photos that PrintWild can print to perfectly fit your box. They also have a Mini PhotoBox. I love the look and idea of this box!
I have tons of photos stored in boxes… cardboard boxes. That includes our wedding photos. And we got married in 2009. I would love to get a custom PhotoBox instead of albums. The reason (apart from the obvious gorgeousness) is that I chose the wedding photographer’s package that gave us the maximum amount of wedding photos. Not a brilliant idea in the end… what to do with all of those pics? Enter the PhotoBox. I think it will work perfectly and the box will look very pretty on our coffee table. Only problem is that I need one in A4 that can hold at least 100 prints… hey PrintWild, I hope you’re reading this, wink-wink :)
Let’s talk about the ordering process… PrintWild scores a perfect 10. Seriously. All you have to do is choose the product you want, upload your image (with the option to crop), choose the colour, size, etc. (whichever is applicable), add to cart, pay and you’re (almost) done. I was so impressed when I received an email from PrintWild asking if I was happy with the resolution and cropping of a few of my images.
A couple of them were phone snaps of actual photos (taken before the digital age). I was worried that they wouldn’t turn out great, but those are actually my favourites. They have a lovely vintage look and we now have photos in our home of loved ones who are no longer here. My heart is happy.
Back to business… I received emails from PrintWild keeping me informed of every step of the process and my images arrived safely packaged and in perfect condition.
