The kind folks at The Organic Shop asked if my husband would like to try a couple of skincare products, and my answer was yes. I’ve been struggling to get him to take better care of his skin… I think Natura Siberica For Men Only is the range that will finally get him to do that.

The Organic Shop treated my husband with a voucher and it was no easy feat to decide on what to buy. If I had my way, I would have spoiled myself (and they have a lot of products I have my eye on), but alas, it was my husband’s turn.

My husband decided to try the below products and I am over the moon that his skincare routine will now consist of more than bar soap and his ‘natural oils’ that, according to him, will sort out his face as the day goes. I love him with all my heart, but my eyes do sometimes hurt from all the rolling ;) I will also give my two cents as I tried some for myself…
TIGER’S PAW REVIVING FACE CLEANSING SCRUB
This reviving facial scrub contains small beads to gently exfoliate the skin whilst providing a good cleanse. It contains Rhodoala Rosea and Pure Taurin to invigorate and Tiger Rose and Wild Hop to energise. My husband said that he likes that it doesn’t feel ‘all minty’ like some of my products do. He’s face felt super soft and clean after the cleanse and he likes it. I had to make space in the shower for his new product. This is HUGE. I tried the product on the back of my hand, and it is absolutely lovely. The scent is ‘manly’, but very subtle. I’m sure this is why my husband loves it too. 10/10 for this beaut that retails for R178. I think it’s a great price for 150ml.
THE MAMMOTH SHAVING CLAY AND MASK 2-IN-1
Natura Siberica says that their 2-in-1 shaving clay is mammoth-sized sophistication. The first time my husband used it to shave, he struggled a bit, but he soon realised that it was because he used too much product and not enough water. A little bit of product and water creates a creamy foam that allows for a comfortable shave that leaves skin smooth and soft. This gorgeous product contains white clay, Siberian cedar wood oil, organic extract of Snow Cladonia and Siberian Sage. Husband likes it a lot and I have a feeling that I’ll be asked to order this again. A little goes a long way and the price tag of R150 is fantastic. Sorry Natura Siberica… this one is not For Men Only … this is one brilliant face mask that leaves skin feeling refreshed, clean and nourished. I love it as much as my husband does.
YAK AND YETI ICE AFTER SHAVE GEL
This quick absorbing Icy After Shave Gel contains Yak Milk, rich in proteins and vitamins, Icy Mint to tone and refresh, Black Mulberry organic extract to improve complexion and Vitamins B5, A and E to soothe and relieve irritation. My husband says this one is a winner as it leaves his skin feeling soft and refreshed. And it smells divine (my words; not his). This gel goes for R188.
My husband’s very happy and he has already asked what other Natura Siberica For Men Only products are available on The Organic Shop. This says a lot!
And I really don’t mind browsing The Organic Shop website. The site is gorgeous, super easy to navigate and the online shopping experience gets two thumbs up.
