Some Sensai fabulousness

I won a couple of trial sized Sensai products a while back (thanks Blog Addict!). I couldn’t wait to try them as this is a brand that I don’t know very well. The one Sensai product that I have tried is their 38ºC Mascara. One word: awesome. This mascara is especially great in summer as you can swim and sweat without it budging, and it is easily removed with warm water (much easier to remove than standard waterproof mascara).

My favourite product that I received is the Sensai Mud Soap:

R690 for 125ml
R690 for 125ml

This facial cleanser also doubles as a mask. It is for oilier skin and has been perfect for me over the past couple of weeks as Cape Town has decided that some days we just skip spring and go full on summer. My skin doesn’t like that and goes from combo to oily in a blink of an eye. Mud Soap beautifully cleanses my skin and removes all excess oil without leaving it feeling tight or stripped. You only need a tiny bit to build up a lovely lather. When I say tiny, I mean tiny. I wasted a lot of product in the beginning. As a mask it deeply cleanses my pores and my skin looks bright and clear after use. I highly recommend this product both as a second cleanse and a mask.

Sensai Cellular Performance Lotion II (Moist) and Emulsion II (Moist)

R870 for 125ml & R1 075 for 100ml
R870 for 125ml & R1 075 for 100ml

These two products work together beautifully to leave my skin feeling nourished and hydrated. It also provides the perfect base for my make-up. Both products are for normal to dry skins, but still work great as my skin is a bit older and it needs the care that it provides. This wouldn’t work for me during the day in summer, but right now they are perfect for day and night. The lotion is a watery fluid that is applied first and then it is followed by the richer emulsion. I am very happy with both of these products and I am very keen to try the lighter versions when the hot weather hits.

Sensai Silk Peeling Powder

This enzyme powder is a fab exfoliater and leaves my skin feeling silky smooth and looking radiant. And it is very gentle. I was worried that the granules would be too abrasive, but when you add water, it forms a lovely soft foam that I gentle massage all over my face. I love the results.

These products are the ultimate in luxury and well worth it if you feel like a splurge.
