I love this time of year… the birds wake me up in the morning and it’s lovely to be able to feel the sun on my skin. My skin does not feel the same way. Change of season wreaks havoc on my skin as it is not sure if it wants to be oily or dry and it becomes super sensitive. Regen Ceutic Skin Recovery Cream by Dermaceutic has proved to be a miracle worker over the past couple of weeks.
Regen Ceutic is a cream that is recommended for sensitive skin and for use after superficial and medium peels to aid in the recovery process.
It contains an array of high performance ingredients:
- 3% Peptides Complex: A synergy of 2 of the most efficient peptides, which stimulates collagen, hyaluronic acid and elastin production to induce an anti-wrinkle effect from within.
- 3% Hyaluronic Acid Gel which moisturises the skin and improves firmness.
- Stabilized vitamin C & E which combats and limits the signs of photo-aging and has an anti-inflammatory action.
- Shea butter to hydrate and nourish
- Leontopodium which has a soothing effect on the skin
In short, this cream is said to soothe, lift, nourish and firm.
I haven’t been using it for long enough to really comment on the anti-ageing effects of this product, but I highly recommend it to anyone who has sensitive skin. My skin immediately feels nourished and calmed when I apply it and it works wonderfully at combating any redness. My skin soaks it up and instantly feels smooth and supple. I was a bit worried that the cream may be very heavy (as that has been my experience with other ‘after-peel’ moisturisers), but it is extremely light-weight. This makes it ideal for all skin types. The only negative for me was that it on some days it proved to be a bit too light-weight. On those days I would just add an extra moisture boost. Dermaceutic also gets bonus points for not adding any fragrance, the simple yet elegant packaging and, most importantly, it comes in a airless pump bottle.
