If you follow me on Twitter, I am sure you have seen me begging and pleading for tickets to this show! Listen, when you’re desperate, you’re desperate. I was completely convinced that I was going to this show. I entered about 8 comps, and finally came to terms with the fact that I would not be going on Saturday morning. I felt very sorry for myself, especially because my best friend was going without me. Sulk, sulk, sulk.
At about 11:00, I was getting ready to go do some grocery shopping when hubby walked in and asked if I still wanted to go. What? Huh?… What do you mean? A colleague of D’s decided that this is a once in a lifetime experience and they bought us tickets!!! I don’t know these people! And they were not even going to the show. I am still a bit dumbstruck by this amazing act of kindness. Anyway my point is this…
We saw KINGS OF CHAOS on Saturday!!!
A little bit of silliness before the show:
Seeing that I mostly blog about beauty I have to add these two pics:
Here are some horrible cellphone pics of the show. It was amazing. I can’t believe that I had a voice on Sunday!
Wait… this post isn’t finished yet! Ha-ha. I found this vid of Saturday night on YouTube.
When the shot goes over the crowd in this vid, you can see my hubby and I by the lighting box (4:23min)!! He’s wearing the bright blue T! Thank you Boring Cape Town Chick :)
Thank you to Marius and Norma who made it happen, and to Caryn and Mike for making the night even more fun! I still can’t believe that Caryn and I experienced Pour Some Sugar On Me together! What a brilliant night. WHAT AN AMAZING SHOW! Thank you Kings of Chaos.
xoxo
What an amazing generous person! wow!
I am so sad that I am missing this amazing act. But I had to choose between KOC and my best friend visiting SA. She lives in the USA.
The biggest reason that I wanted to go so badly, was because I wanted to share it with my best friend. Besties over concerts any day!
Looks like you guys had lots of fun. So great that your husband’s colleagues gave you the tickets!
O so inspired
Hahaha, you guys really went all out for the concert! Black nails and guyliner, too funny!
Thanks for all the comments guys! It was fab!!!
That is an amazing act of kindness, so glad you got to go looks like it was an amazing time.
