Vaseline.
When I hear that word, the first thing that comes to mind is BLUESEAL. The same BLUESEAL that protected my little girl’s bum from nappy rash and the same BLUESEAL that I used to make my own lip balm when I was at school.
Vaseline BLUESEAL has been around for over 140 years and I’m sure that you will struggle to find a South African household that doesn’t have a jar in a cupboard somewhere.
I have seen (and used) a few of the variants now available, but I didn’t realise how many there actually are!
There are well over 101 uses for Vaseline BLUESEAL and today I share a few favourites. Thanks for the tips Vaseline ;)
- Use as a body moisturiser to lock in moisture and keep your skin restored, soft and smooth (TIP: Try using Vaseline BLUESEAL Aloe Fresh if you prefer a light, fast-absorbing jelly that will keep your skin feeling fresh and hydrated all day long).
- Apply over scabs, scrapes and minor cuts to protect from the elements (TIP: Try using Vaseline BLUESEAL Germsafe to soothe and provide 99.9% germ protection).
- Keep lips soft and moisturised, especially in winter, by applying to lips as a lipbalm (TIP: The super cute 10ml jar is the perfect size to keep in your handbag or pocket).

- Massage into feet to soften and restore dry, cracked heels. This is a winning tip!
- Prevent roughness on knees and ankles by massaging into the problem areas, morning and night (TIP: Vaseline BLUESEAL Cocoa Glow will restore dull, dry skin to give your skin an all over glow).
