INOAR Absolut DayMoist Shampoo and Conditioner Review

This hair care brand can do no wrong in my books. You can read previews posts and reviews of INOAR HERE and HERE. Today I want to tell you about the new INOAR Absolut DayMoist range.   This is what INOAR says: The action of the synergic complex of the Cornstarch and the Beet Extract, along with the exclusive Daymoist CLRTM, restores the hair protecting the integrity of the Alpha Helix in charge of the keratin maintenance. It increases hair elasticity, preserves colour and shine, protects from discolouring and prepares the hair for high temperature treatments. Now, I have no idea what exactly an Alpha Helix is or what the benefits of cornstarch and beet extract is in hair care products, nor do I really care. What matters to me is how the products perform. And my oh my, does it perform. I had the opportunity to try the shampoo and conditioner and both are absolute winners. The INOAR Absolut DayMoist Shampoo is most definitely one of the best shampoos I have ever used. If you have dry and/or damaged hair like me, you have to try it. My hair is left super soft after every wash. I have to remind myself to apply conditioner as my hair is so silky that I can actually detangle it without it. Curly girls will know that we usually need handfuls of conditioner to do that. This shampoo leaves my hair feeling clean, nourished and cared for. The word ‘wow’ comes to mind every time I think about it. The product itself is thick and luxurious and has a beautifully sweet and creamy...

INOAR Extreme Premium Oil Review

I’ve been using INOAR’s new hair oil, Extreme Premium Oil, for a couple of weeks and I am really enjoying it. It’s lightweight, non-greasy and smells amazing. It is silicone based and contains an array of oils that calms frizz, nourishes dry and damaged hair, treats split ends and gives brilliant shine. The oils include argan, macadamia and rose imperial oil. What makes this oil extra special is that it contains Myrrh. Myrrh is known for its healing powers and its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-parasitic and astringent benefits. As I’ve mentioned, it’s very lightweight so it is perfect for all hair types and it does not weigh your hair down. A drop of this oil will be enough to calm the frizzies and the smooth dry ends. I use a bit more as my hair is very dry (highlights and natural curls will do that). I apply two pumps to damp hair before I apply any styling products. The result is defined, smooth and shiny curls. It also works like a charm when I need extra help to control frizz on dry hair. The results on Cara’s curls are fantastic. Her hair isn’t as dry as mine so I only use a drop on hers. My little girl’s locks form perfectly and the shine of her naturally blonde hair is out of this world. I wish I could get my highlights to look like that. Mom is very envious! I really like this luxuriously packaged oil and I highly recommend it. Suggested Retail price: R545.00 (50ml). INOAR Extreme Premium Oil is available exclusively at fine salons and spas nationwide. milk_shake Integrity review

My review first appeared on Blog Addict. Thanks so much! From the first sniff I was hooked on milk_shake. We received a couple of samples at a Blog Addict event and then I was lucky enough to win two products. I am hooked on this divinely scented hair care brand and my curls are looking fabulous. If I do say so myself.   milk_shake Integrity Nourishing Shampoo The shampoo is salt- and sulphate-free and contains organic Muru Muru butter. Muru Muru butter is rich in fatty acids that are very nourishing, soothing and moisturising for both hair and skin, and the Vitamin A repairs, nourishes and strengthens the hair. My hair feels cleansed, soft and smooth after every wash. And my hair is less frizzy. The shampoo is my favourite from the products I received and it gets two thumbs up. The shampoo retails for R250. milk_shake Integrity Intensive Treatment This treatment is suitable for all hair types and also contains nourishing Muru Muru Butter. Because my hair is extremely dry, I was worried that the treatment would be too ‘light’, but it is performing well as a daily conditioner. My hair is left soft and smooth with no build-up (which is awesome). I would really like to try the Argan Deep Treatment as I think that would work very well with these dry locks of mine. R246. I also received a sample of milk_shake’s Argan Oil treatment. The mix of silicones and nourishing organic Argan oil leaves my hair feeling soft and gives incredible shine. This frizz-busting formula is perfect for my dry hair and just a few...

INOAR BB Cream Range

The moment I saw ‘Beauty Balm’ for hair I knew I had to try it. If you follow my blog, you will know that I am really struggling with my hair and I am on a mission to go from dry and strawy to soft, shiny and healthy. The INOAR BB Cream range sounded like a perfect range to try as it contains all sorts of natural goodness (like natural oils and omega’s) and I was super excited when I received a travel kit to try. The range contains high percentages of natural emollients such as Sunflower, Sesame, Linseed, olive and Macadamia and it is rich in Omegas. The travel kit includes sample sizes of all the products in the range which consists of a shampoo, conditioner, leave-in conditioner, oil and treatment. These kits are available for purchase and it’s a great way to give the range a try before investing. This range is suitable for all hair types and is said to have the following 9 benefits: softness, instant shine, brightness, anti-frizz, easy blow dry, intense hydration, corrects imperfections in hair shaft, restores and moisturises hair naturally and it is sulphate free (therefor keeping treatment and colour for longer).       I need to add number 10: Your hair smells amazing! The shampoo is sulphate free and fabulous. I am still getting used to a shampoo that doesn’t foam that much (used to love those sulphates and foam). I used this shampoo on both my and Cara’s hair and I loved the fact that our hair felt soft and smooth when I rinsed the shampoo – not hard...
