Wake Wonderful with REN’s Night-Time Facial

I always get a little extra excited when I get to try something new from REN. Their products are great and my skin seems to really dig some REN goodness.

REN released the Wake Wonderful Night-Time Facial a couple of months ago and I think it’s one of their best products yet.

Wake Wonderful Night-Time Facial Review Pretty Please Charlie

What is it?

‘A transforming treatment that works overnight to leave skin visibly brighter, more luminous, refined and even-toned by morning.’

A unique complex of actives delivers a 3-phase treatment while you sleep:

Phase 1: The exfoliating and brightening effect of the acid/enzyme complex is delivered to the skin on application

Phase 2: Next, Glycogen and Magnesium take over to revitalize and boost skin cell vitality

Phase 3: Finally, Sodium Lactate kicks in to gradually raise skin PH, leaving the skin rejuvenated and infused with plumping moisture

In a nutshell, it is a leave-on mask that exfoliates, brightens, boosts, revitalises and plumps. And does it? Yes.

My skin really looks and feels great after using this mask.

It is not recommended for sensitive skin, but my skin seems to really love it especially when it’s being particularly temperamental. You can apply it on clean skin or between applying your serum and moisturiser (which may be advisable if your skin is very sensitive). I feel my results are better if I apply it on freshly cleansed skin. There is a slight tingling, but it is extremely slight and it only lasts for a second.

This is a great mask and one I would gladly spend my hard earned cash on.

REN Wake Wonderful Night-Time Facial retails for R620. Visit the REN website HERE for more info.

Two thumbs up!

Rain Biologie Winter Therapy Bath Soak

Rain Africa Biologie Winter Therapy Bath Soak review Pretty Please Charlie

I am not really a fan of bath bombs and fizzes and the like. First of all, I don’t often get the chance to relax in a bath (as it is usually shared with my 4 year old) and most seem to irritate my skin. But, and this is a huge (in your face and twerking) BUT, the Rain Biologie Winter Therapy Bath Soak is absolute and utter bliss. The scent is amazing. The Eucalyptus and Camphor is very prominent, but gorgeous. On quite a few occasions I’ve opened the jar just to take a wiff. My first Winter Therapy bath was the most relaxing bath I’ve had in a very long time. If there is only one pamper product to get yourself this winter, it is most definitely Rain’s Winter Therapy soak. Well done Rain. Rain has got a great special running at the moment. I posted the details on Facebook this morning. R115.

This beauty launched last month and has worked wonders at soothing my lips. It contains the goodness of Propolis, Vitamin E, Shea and Cocoa butter. It feels very light on the lips, yet still gives the nourishment I need. It’s a goodie. R150.
