Denim Hair … yay or nay?

I love the grey hair trend. If I was a bit younger, I would totally embrace it. Thing is, I’m turning 38 later this month and I fear silver hair may just make me look old(er). I try my best to cover the grey I already have as it is.

My sister recently told me about the newest hair trend and I am more than a little obsessed. It’s making me think twice about not taking the plunge.

What makes this trend even cooler is that you have so many options. Don’t just think ‘blue’, think stonewash, distressed, gray, indigo, midnight blue. You can go for solid colour or multi-tone. The possibilities are endless.

I freaking love it.

From me it’s a definite YAY. What do you say?

BambiShoes Hair Colour Review

Obsessed. That is what I am. I am completely obsessed with BambiShoes semi-permanent hair colour. I discovered BambiShoes hair colour at the end of last year and I fell in love. So much so that I had to include it in my Best of Beauty 2015 post.

If you want to add a pop of colour to your hair or go full mermaid, you have to check out this non-toxic, cruelty free, vegan-friendly product.

The colours are vibrant and just plain gorgeous. I received beryl orchid, sapphire blue and amethyst purple to try out, but there are many more to choose from. And you can play around and create a shade that’s perfect for you. The colour is easy to apply, it doesn’t cause any damage and beautiful colour comes at a fraction of the price of professional applications. I also love the fact that I don’t have to use all my product at once (you only mix as much as you need).

Yesterday I decided to add a little sapphire blue and amethyst purple to my hair (with hubby’s help). So mooi!

All you need is your BambiShoes colour powder, conditioner, rubber gloves (as this stuff does stain), a mixing bowl and a colour brush (I found that applying it with my hands worked well).

I love it!! Especially the purple. Seriously thinking of doing my whole head. I can’t stop staring at it.

We also played around with the colours over the holidays. My little girl and I went for a pop of pink and my bestie opted for the purple. Her hair looked amazing. Really! And I have been told that I need to keep my schedule open as she wants more…
