Giddy. That’s what I felt when I opened a parcel containing 3 must-haves from the new Revlon PhotoReady Eye Art Lid + Line + Lash range.

These new dual sided eye shadow wands have a cream shadow on the one end and a glitter shadow on the other. They come in an array of bright and intense colours, but it was the more neutral toned ones that grabbed my attention.

My heart really almost skipped a beat when I saw pics of Topaz Twinkle on the web.

The glitter shadows are super fun to play with, but the quality of the cream shadows are superb and more than enough reason to pop these in your basket. The cream shadows are easy to apply, stay put the whole day, crease minimally and the shades are beautifully vibrant. I can go on and on, but I think the swatches speak for themselves.

All three of the below shades are gorgeous, but Topaz Twinkle is utterly beautiful and, trust me, if you are into taupes, you must have it.

L’Oréal Miss Manga Punky Mascara and Superliner Blackbuster

L’Oréal Paris Mega Volume Miss Manga Punky L’Oréal Paris Superliner Blackbuster review

L’Oréal Miss Manga Punky Mascara and Superliner Blackbuster

I have so much love for L’Oréal mascaras. There truly are few other brands that can do mascara the way they do. The original Miss Manga is one of my favourites and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on a tube of Punky. Be warned though…Miss Manga Punky Mega Volume Mascara is not for the faint-hearted. This baby gives volume. And lots of it. If you want fluttery and feathery lashes, you need to look elsewhere. Miss Manga Punky is a styling texturizing mascara and all about the drama.

I was prepared to fall in love with Miss Manga Punky, but I was not prepared for the fabulousness which is the Superliner Blackbuster eyeliner. I don’t do liquid liner and I don’t do winged liner. I have tried many eyeliner pens/markers, but I always go back to my trusty pencil. But the L’Oréal Superliner Blackbuster eyeliner has changed that.

L’Oréal Superliner Blackbuster eyeliner review

This marker works like a charm. It gets right in between my top lashes for a gorgeous and dark lashline. The liner stays put the whole day and it doesn’t transfer, smudge or fade. The big tip of this marker was a bit misleading as I thought that I would not be able to get a neat, thin line, but it proved me wrong. This liner is a winner and I highly recommend it. I have been using it every day for about a month and I will probably repurchase it before my hand touches any of my pencil liners. Blackbuster truly is a super liner.

Miss Manga Punky and Superliner Blackbuster retail for R150 each.
