In true Parisian fashion, the iconic little round pot rejuvenates its style without losing its identity.

Bourjois' Little Round Pot Nude Edition eyeshadow review Pretty Please Charlie

The Nude Collection consists of 4 pearly/satin, 2 matte and 2 shimmery/glitter shades.

I have 03 ORIGINALE which is a a radiant shimmering beige and it is perfection. I love the shade yes, but it is the texture and application that bowled me over. It is soft and silky to the touch and applies and blends like a dream. I use this shadow all over the lid and then add my favourite cream shadow to the crease and lower lid. Even my cream shadow seems to love it as it also applies easier and lasts longer when I use this gorgeous little pot.

Next on my shopping list is 06 UTAUPIQUE (a matte taupe), 07 BRUN DE FOLIE (a shimmery dark taupe) and 08 NOCTAM-BRUNE (a frosty brown).

Little Round Pot Eyeshadows are available at selected Clicks stores and online from www.cosmetiquesdefrance.co.za. RSP: R125.95

Catrice Absolute Rose eyeshadow palette in Frankie Rose To Hollywood

We are not half way through the year yet, but I am convinced that the Catrice Absolute Rose eyeshadow palette in Frankie Rose To Hollywood will be my number 1 budget beauty make-up item of 2015.

‘Soft nudes and trendy rosé shades – sometimes matt and sometimes shimmering – create a beautiful natural look no matter whether they are used solo or as a team.’

Catrice Frankie Rose To Hollywood eye shadow palette review

I apologise for using the image from Catrice, but my photos just don’t do the shades justice. Plus I can’t take anymore pics as I have already hit pan on 2 of the shades.

I have been using this palette every day for 2 months. Every single day. The shades are truly gorgeous. The shadows are soft and buttery and look beautiful once applied.

Shades 1 and 2 are pretty decent highlighters. Shade 1 is more matte and shade 2 will give your inner corner some shimmer.

Shades 3 and 4 are stunning. Both are shimmery shades; enough to give you a beautiful look for night, but subtle enough for day. I use both over the whole lid before I add Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and On Bronze. The combination of these shadows are my go to look for day and night. I have not reached for anything else for months. Sorry for the dust darling MAC and Bobbi.

Shade 5 is the perfect shade to fill my brows. I also use it every day.

The only shade that I don’t use is shade 6. Just because it is not my cup of tea. It still is lovely.

The only downer is the fact that the shadows can be a bit messy when brush hits shadow. Also the brush (but that’s not news). Will these negative points stop me from buying this palette? Hell no.

I adore this palette and I will most definitely be rushing to a Catrice stand soon.

Catrice Absolute Rose eyeshadow palette in Frankie Rose To Hollywood retails for R90.
