Travel Bucket List: Lagoon Lodge in Stanford

On Saturday I joined fellow bloggers for the #RainMysteryTour. It was a day filled with glorious surprises and treats as well as a chance to learn more about the new Rain Africa perfumes (which I will still tell you about). The venue for our amazing day was the Mosaic Sanctuary in Stanford.

We had a tour of the Lagoon Lodge and since then I have not been able to get it out of my mind. If you are in need of a luxury retreat to completely unwind, the Lagoon Lodge is the ideal place to do just that.

Picture stone- and thatch-built 5 star secluded luxury suites nestled among ancient Milkwood trees with private decks overlooking the Hermanus lagoon and majestic mountains.

Rooms have magnificent king sized beds enveloped in soft netting, a beautiful sitting area and a fireplace.

I almost have no words to describe the bathroom. That tub…

Boardwalks lead to the luxurious lounge area where fresh, sumptuous meals can be enjoyed whilst looking over the lagoon or sitting underneath the ancient Milkwoods.

My ideal stay at Lagoon Lodge would most consist of lounging by the heated pool, taking long leisurely strolls…

If you are more adventurous, you can take part in many activities (which are included in your stay) which include kayaking, mountain- and quad biking.

The Lagoon Lodge is definitely a place to add to your travel bucket list. It’s on mine.

My images do this little piece of Heaven no justice at all. For more on the Lagoon Lodge and Mosaic Sanctuary, you can visit them HERE.
