I have discovered that this lovely balm has many other uses though, but first let me tell you more about this little tube and its beeswaxy goodness.
TATTOO ADDICT AFTER CARE
TATTOO ADDICT is specially formulated with Pro-vitamin 5 to aid in the healing process of your tattoo. It is manufactured with no fragrances, colorants or antiseptics to minimise irritation to even the most delicate skin.
The formulation creates a smooth breathable layer to help the most sensitive skin with healing.
The benefits of using this balm on your tattoo is that it will reduce the incidence of dehydration and scabbing, it promotes faster healing and it preserves the colour of your tattoo.
Tattoo Addict After Care contains the following ingredients:
- Grapeseed Oil – absorbs into the skin faster than most oils and is used as a carrier for the benefits of essential oils
- Cera Alba (Beeswax) helps to hold in moisture, protecting the skin from dryness and prevents clogging of pores
- Shea Butter – helps repair the epidermis by promoting cell regeneration
- Rosemary Oil – acts as an anti-oxidant
- Allantoin – promotes healing of wounds, is soothing and an anti-irritant
- Lavender Oil -which has many anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties
- Vitamin E – acts as an anti-oxidant and helps with skin regeneration
Now seeing as I don’t have new tattoo to test drive it on, I’ve been using the balm for a few other things.
Firstly, it’s a gorgeous lip balm. It also helps that I love the design on the tube. I also use it on dry patches of skin when my eczema flares up (sexy, I know!). The balm is extremely soothing and gentle on my sensitive skin. I have had incidences in the past where my eczema flared up around a new tattoo and I think this balm would have made the healing process a lot more comfortable.
This all natural (not tested on animals!) balm can also be used on cracked heels, dry cuticles, etc. It can even be used to tame an unruly beard. I know I said in the title ‘101 uses’, but you get what I’m saying. If you have any patchy, dry, cracked, chaffed skin, this balm will sort you out.
