Introducing the GoBabyClub app

I received the cutest press drop a couple of weeks ago introducing me the GoBabyClub app. I have been playing around with it and I would have loved to have this fun tool handy when Cara was a baby.

GoBabyClub announcement Pretty Please Charlie

‘The GoBabyClub app for parents and caregivers is an interactive mobile app with 240 development activities showing by means of video clips and picture sequences, how to emotionally bond with your baby. Through fun-filled experiences and positive encouragement, it covers all the main aspects of baby’s development from 3 months to 12 months, using music and rhymes.’

While I was pregnant with Cara I put a file together with activities and had a stack of books, but they collected dust to be honest. I tried to do as much research as I could, but who has time to read when you are changing nappies, getting up 5 times a night, have mountains of laundry waiting and getting no sleep?

Now you can download an app that helps mom and baby play, have fun, bond and relax whilst at the same time stimulating baby to reach and complete milestones. It’s all on your phone. Easy to use at home and on the go.

The GoBabyClub app focuses on six main baby development categories which include sensory development, fine motor skills, cognitive development, gross motor skills, body awareness & emotional development and boosting memory.

This app was not designed and put together willy-nilly.

‘A large number of the development activities on the GoBabyClub app is based on a programme developed for the Parent and Child Association by a team of Occupational, Speech and Physiotherapists. The activities are based on extensive research taken from workshops for parents / caregivers and babies from all around the world. Making parents aware of the sequential nature of developmental milestones helps to reduce stress that results from unrealistic expectations. The programme devised for the app is endorsed and supported by leading Occupational Therapists and other Health Care professionals.’

The app also has other great features that I would have really loved to have easier access to like baby massage instructions, fun and relaxing music for baby and helpful baby hints and tips.

And of course Yoga Baby Love which is a fabulous tool for mom and baby to spend time and relax. It includes many yoga poses with written and video instructions. It really looks awesome.

The app is available to purchase for R84.99 per month via App Store & R79.99 via Play Store. To learn more you can visit their website HERE or like them on Facebook or follow on Twitter.

Happy bonding!

Pure Beginnings Fun Time Bubble Bath Review

Every little girl and boy deserves bubbles. What’s more fun than a bath filled with millions of bubbles (for young and old)? It sucks that Cara has sensitive, eczema-prone skin and hardly ever has a bubble bath. I’ve seen Pure Beginnings products in pharmacies and online and I have been tempted to try the bubble bath, but I’ve never gotten around to it. Then Cara received a surprise parcel on Friday. My little girl and I enjoyed 3 bubble-filled baths over the weekend.

Pure Beginnings Organic Kids Fun Time Bubble Bath Review Pretty Please Charlie

‘Pure Beginnings Organic Skin Care believes in keeping your skin as pure as the day
you were born by providing effective, organically formulated skin care
products that care for you and your family’s skin, and are not harmful to the environment
giving you peace of mind from the beginning.’

Pure Beginnings Fun Time Bubble Bath is an absolute treat and perfect for sensitive skins. Both Cara and myself suffer from eczema so I have to be very wary of the bath and body products we use. This bubble bath left us feeling soft, smooth and squeaky clean (without the squeak). And there was no negative reaction. Cara had millions of bubbles to play with and they lasted very well. Pretty great as the product does not contains SLS. The scent of Fun Time Bubble Bath is lovely – a delightful combination of citrus, geranium and ylang-ylang. I am in love and so is Cara.

Pure Beginnings Fun Time Bubble Bath retails for R61.50 and is available at Baby City, Wellness Warehouse and selected online and health stores.

Visit Pure Beginnings HERE to learn more about their other fab products.
