Eucerin DermatoCLEAN Cleansing Gel

A couple of months ago I decided to try a Eucerin toner (you can have a look HERE). I am a complete sucker when it comes to Clicks sales. Those 3 for 2 ones always get me! Anyway… at that time there was a Eucerin special going – buy two products and get this face wash free. So I decided to get the toner and some Aquaphor ointment. I am so glad I did.

I really like this cleanser. It cleans my skin thoroughly without leaving my face feeling stripped. It lathers nicely and you only have to use a little bit. I use it after I use a micellar solution to remove my make-up and it removes those last traces of mascara very well. On lazy days I sometimes skip the pre-cleanse step and this cleanser still does a great job at cleansing and removing my make-up. I have been using it every night for a couple of months and I have used about two thirds of the bottle. When it’s finished, I will definitely run straight to Clicks for a new one.
You can find this cleanser at Clicks and big pharmacies and it retails for about R110.

Eucerin DermoPURIFYER Toner

This is my skin… I have sensitive, eczema-prone skin, that’s dehydrated, getting lekker wrinkly, PLUS I have huge pores that clog. WTF? I really struggle to find products that target all of these issues. Especially now with change of season when my skin gets very dry.  But the Eucerin DermoPURIFYER Toner has come to the rescue.

As I mentioned in my post on Bioderma Sensibio H20 (check it out HERE), I have also recently started using toner. The first one I tried was one from Kiehl’s. Not bad at all, but I could not see a significant change in the condition of my skin. Then I read a couple of blog posts on the Eucerin DermoPURIFYER Toner and decided to give it a go. I was worried that it may be to harsh for my skin, as it is recommended for acne-prone skin. But I needed something to target my pores. The ‘2% Lactic Acid Follicle Targeting System’ is said to help unclog pores. It must be true! My pores seem to be not as clogged and maybe even a bit smaller (?) since I’ve started using this toner. My skin is clearer, brighter and I haven’t had any huge pimples since I started using it. Touch wood!

I bought this toner at Clicks for about R110.

I love it and this product has a permanent place on my shopping lis.
