My GrandeLash-md results

I love the look of long, lush fluttery lashes. And I used to have them, with the help of lashings of mascara of course. As I’ve gotten older I have noticed that they do not look as good as they used too. I do not like wearing falsies and, in all honesty, I cannot afford extensions.

So I was thrilled when I got the opportunity to try out the GrandeLash-md lash serum. GrandeLash-md is new to South Africa (read a bit more about GrandeLash-md South Africa HERE). I was a bit sceptical at first as I have never tried a lash growth product before.

You apply the product to the base of your lashes as you would a liquid liner. On most days I applied it morning and night. I did forget here and there. I was a bit worried about sensitivity as it’s applied so close to the eye, but I experienced no side effects.

Here are my before and after results after using it for 6 weeks. I wore my favourite mascara on all the pics as my bare lashes are very light and hardly show up on pics.

BEFORE was taken on 5 June 2014 and the AFTER this morning.
Excuse the wide-eyed look in the after pic… the double flash almost blinded me.

I thought I was going mad, but I saw results after only 3 days. Cross my heart. I couldn’t believe it. My new and improved lashes are longer and fuller and have the most amazing curl. I presume it’s just my natural curl that’s accentuated. My eyes look open and I look wide awake. I look forward to applying my mascara every morning as I am in love my beautiful lashes.

GrandeLash-md retails for R775 for a 2-3 month supply. Yes, it is pricey, but I think it’s worth it. And if compared to lash extensions and fills, the price is quite reasonable.

After seeing the amazing results from this product, I am super keen to try their brow serum as well.

Hair Lust List: OGX Coconut Milk Collection

Cara and I have been on the sulphate-free healthy hair journey for just over 6 weeks now, and the change in the condition of our hair is just amazing! I’m talking healthier, stronger and thicker hair. If you suffer from dry, damaged hair or you wash every day, I urge you to try sulphate-free shampoo. It’s really made such a difference to our hair (if you’re wondering what the hell I’m on about, read HERE).

I am constantly on the look-out for more sulphate-free ranges to try, and the Coconut Milk range from OGX is next on my list.

‘OGX products contain organic active ingredients and are sulphate free, with natural, delectable scents, and are not tested on animals’… what more could one ask for?!

‘Coconut milk and ultra-whipped egg white proteins along with weightless coconut oil to hydrate and nourish your hair as gentle cleansers wash away impurities’. And the packaging is so pretty.

The collection consists of a shampoo, conditioner, a slit-ends mender, an anti-breakage serum, a mousse, a repair treatment and a hydrating oil mist.

The products retail for R180 and are available at Foschini.

Have you tried any of these? Please let me know what you think.

xoxo
