A couple of weeks ago I saw Toadie’s face in all its green glory covering the windows of their new store in our local shopping centre. Toy Kingdom was finally opening in Cape Gate! Yay!
Toy Kingdom opens in Cape Gate
We were invited to attend the official opening last Saturday and we shopped till we dropped.
The new store is fantastic. We didn’t expect anything less. All the Toy Kingdom stores that we’ve visited has made shopping for toys an absolutely magical experience.
The new store in Cape Gate Shopping Centre in Brackenfell is just that… magic. The layout is great and the decor is beautiful. And the toys. Oh the toys… it’s what dreams are made of. It’s easy to get lost in the fantasy world that Toy Kingdom has created.
Our first stop was a shelf filled with Cara’s favourite humble heroes… the PJ Masks. Cara already has a Catboy plush toy and couldn’t resist adding Owlette to her collection.
Next we paid all the princesses a visit. Elena of Avalor is definitely Cara’s favourite princess. If your princess feels the same way, Toy Kingdom can help you score major brownie points.
Have you been charming or cheeky? Toy Kingdom will get you in the Christmas spirit and humming a few Boney M classics in no time.
You like board games? Toy Kingdom has them all. Plus there is an awesome 3 for 2 special running on selected games right now. Of course I couldn’t let that one pass me by.
I special shout out to the Toy Kingdom Cape Gate staff. Thank you for your friendly smiles and assistance on a day that I’m sure you were all dead tired. Here’s to a job well done!
And before I forget…
The new store offers Build-a-Bear Workshops! I can’t wait to surprise Cara and her cousin and treating them to a Build-a-Bear experience. They’ve never been and don’t know what it’s all about. I can just imagine those little faces when they hear that they can create their own special friend to take home. I secretly want Cara to choose a unicorn (so fluffy and cute!), but she has her eye on Pikachu.
