Hey curly girls. Have you found the perfect curl cocktail for your hair yet? I haven’t. But I’m getting there thanks to the Curly Girl Method and Naturally Africa Cleansing Conditioner.
Naturally Africa Cleansing Conditioner
Sunflower Seed Oil infused Cleansing Conditioner for damaged, coily, curly and textured hair.
This no-poo 3-in-1 miracle Cleansing Conditioner is a mild and sulfate free formula. It cleanses from root to tip, without stripping your hair, for improved manageability and combability. This product is recommended for damaged, coily, curly and textured hair. Infused with Sunflower Oil and Vegetable proteins, your hair will feel soft, smooth, shiny, hydrated and cleansed. 95% naturally derived, our product is environmentally friendly and cold processed, promoting our green carbon and clean beauty footprint.
Last year I decided to try the Curly Girl Method, but I wasn’t sure what to use to cleanse my hair. I have tried sulphate-free shampoos which were good, but I never really got the results I wanted and gave up after a bottle or two. I also tried ‘washing’ with conditioner in the hopes that it would give me ‘no-poo’ results. Obviously that didn’t work. Then I was sent a bottle of Naturally Africa Cleansing Conditioner and I am a convert!
The Naturally Africa Cleansing Conditioner feels like a conditioner, but lathers ever so slightly when you add a bit of water while you work it through your hair. After giving my scalp a good massage, combing the knots out of my hair (my hair is shortish, so it’s easy to do with this product) and a good rinse, my hair and scalp is left feeling cleansed and cared for. I may be a bit crazy, but it also feels like my hair has good some good volume (as opposed to feeling stripped and limp).
I have just finished my second bottle of this product and I will never go back to shampoo. I’ve also started using it on Cara’s hair, I love it for her too. It takes a bit of time to get used to using a cleansing conditioner, but it is totally worth it!
Naturally Africa Cleansing Conditioner retails for R139.95. Pop over to the Naturally Africa website to shop online or find a stockist near you.
