What I love most about summer is beach days with a book while the hubster and kiddy play in the warm cape town sand and dip their toes in the cool cape towney waves. I’m so excited for the 2015 season because as you know, it’s going to be all about that boho vibe so a tan is essential!
Summer is fun. You play, you laugh and you cherish the special bright and shiny moments as much as you can. You take advantage of the all the beautiful flowers, the happy faces and the bliss you experience when it’s just the perfect sunny day!
best thing I love about Summer is being able to get in some surfing, relaxing at the beach with friends, summer braai’s, ice cream cones, summer shorts and tank tops, beach volleyball, long walks….love it!!

I love walking into my garden early in the morning while I’m still in my pj’s to admire all the intricate little webs of dew on the grass and spiderwebs…. can’t do that in winter!!! Then of course there are watermelons and swimming until dark. The list, as they say, is endless. Bring on summmmmmmmer!
Summer is much better for my skin and hair. It’s always easier to sleep at night.

What I love most about summer is that it warms up the swimming pool enough to swim in. We have wonderful weather in Durban in winter but not warm enough to swim.

The warmth of the sun after an icy cold winter.
I love the fact that I can get up early in the morning and the world doesn’t look glum and scary like it does in winter. more importantly I love that I can paint my toe nails and show them off in the cutest pair of sandles I can find. and lastly, I love long flowy summer skirts. You just automatically look whimsical and fun and happy in summer.
There’s summer. Aw, sweet, sweet summer….I love the light mornings, which helps to get me up early! Equally, the light evenings. What the sun does to the garden.

A sense of just sheer pleasure with a bright day and the birds singing.
Summer for me is just a joyous, happy time.. no more snotty noses and sick kiddies.. they get to play outside and run freely, fresh air and beautiful flowers..the warm sun on your skin.. no more thick jackets that smother you.. walks on the beach.. ice cream.. Outside braai’s.. swimming till early evening.. I really love summer :-)
The thing I love most about summer: Tank tops, and lots and lots of tank tops hehe… Ice cream, and sorbet, sitting outside when visiting a restaurant, and playing on the grass with my boys.
