Footy's Future Drinks

The Footy’s Future Food range products are the brainchild of Dr. Tersia Muller, founder of Wellness Made Simple For Kids. Combining forces with her husband, Christiaan Muller and sister-in-law, Annchen Bester (Chef and new product development consultant), the Footy’s Future Food range saw the light in October 2015.

Footy's Future Drinks

Footy’s sent us a hamper to try their delicious cool drink powders a couple of weeks ago and we love them. Footy’s Future Drink cool drink powder is available in raspberry, lemon & lime, passion fruit, grape, strawberry and naartjie flavours and can be bought in single serving sachets (as part of a variety pack) and in 170g and 450g jars. Footy’s also has a Ready-To-Drink version to enjoy on the go.

All Footy’s products are made with natural colourants, no artificial sweeteners, no sugar and no preservatives, which makes it diabetic friendly. Our powder cool drink are ADHD friendly, tooth-friendly and high in vitamin C and contains no artificial ingredients. This makes our products ideal for slimmers, the health conscious and individuals prone to allergies.

Footy’s Future Drinks is perfect for young and old and a great alternative to soft drinks and fruit juices that contain a lot (A LOT!) of sugar.

I am especially happy that each serving is packed with Vitamin C. We need to boost our immune systems as much as we can right now.

Footy's Future Drinks

Footy’s is not just a cool drink; it can be used in so many more ways. The list is almost endless! You can use it to flavour yogurt, ice cream, smoothies and so much more. I am very keen to make sugar free jelly and sugar free jelly sweets for the family. And perhaps a cocktail or two for me ;)

Time to get some active wear and start moving

I used to enjoy things like Adventure Bootcamp and the KFM Gun Run. Now I can hardly make it up a flight of stairs without breaking a sweat. What happened to you, Charlene?! Short answer… I got lazy. It’s time to get moving again. But first I have to get some active wear on Superbalist.

Time to get some active wear and start moving

I mentioned in my 10 day detox post that I trialed Aaptiv. I bit the bullet and subscribed for a year. I love this fitness App. I’m starting slowly, but at the end of this year I want to be able to run again. I don’t want to run a marathon; I just want to be able to run around with my kid without feeling like I’m dying. I have zero active wear though. Let me rephrase; I have zero active wear that fits.

Let’s get shopping!

Even though I’m not the ‘dropping the kids at school in your active wear’ mom, Superbalist may convert me…

How gorgeous is this red and white Kappa crew neck sweatshirt?!

Superbalist Active Wear

Look at the back detail. I freakin’ love it.

Superbalist Active Wear

It’s bloody cold in Cape Town so I need at least one more warm top. I love the step up hem on this grey textured Cotton On sweatshirt.

Superbalist Active Wear

Now it’s time to get the active wear that I will actually get active in:

I love the look of the loose fitting Ignite Tank by Puma.

Superbalist Active Wear

This Puma Explosive cutout tee is a must-have. Black is my colour.

Superbalist Active Wear

All the bottoms that caught my eye are by Superbalist. Well done guys.

How cute are the polka dots on these black 7/8 length leggings?

Superbalist Active Wear

Superbalist also have fabulous two pack 7/8 leggings that are great value for money.

Superbalist Active Wear

I’m not too sure how active I’ll be in the mauve Superbalist joggers… they’re too stunning to sweat in, don’t you agree?! They also come in black and neutral.

For good measure I think I need a pair of new Nike Flex Essential trainers and Skullcandy Ink’d 2.0 wireless in-ear headphones. You know, why’ll I’m at it ;)

Last, but by no means least, I need to shop for the most essential item of the active wear ensemble… The Sports Bra. To check out Superbalist’s amazing range of sports bras click here.

Without the support of a good sports bra, I can forget about any form of cardio. These puppies have been through 6 months of breastfeeding and years of weight loss and gain… they deserve the best.

The Adidas All me sports bra in black & white looks very comfortable and supportive.

Superbalist Sports Bra

Cotton On has a super range of high impact wire free sports bras.

Superbalist also has this gorgeous black and purple two pack that offers great value. The round neckline, removable foam cup inserts and sports crop fit makes it an obvious choice.
