The Pantene Repair & Protect Shampoo and Conditioner has been a staple in our home for ages and both are top notch. My husband is also a huge fan. I reviewed the shampoo and conditioner last year over HERE. The shampoo and conditioner retails for R109.99 for 750ml and R69.99 for 400ml.

The Pantene Intensive Moisture Masque is a bargain at only R48.95 and I often use it as a leave-in conditioner when my hair is very dry and needs a little extra TLC.

My favourite product in the range is Pantene Gold Deep Moisturizing Soufflé. Oh my, this leave-in treatment is to die for. If you struggle with hair that is dry and damaged, this conditioner is worth its weight in gold. Think soft, smooth, shiny hair. It is only available while stock lasts though, so hurry. I tried the Pantene 24-hr Frizz Fighter on my gran’s hair a couple of days ago and it did wonders for her curls. My gran has very thick, course, naturally curly hair and the frizz fighter did an amazing job with her curls. Her curls were perfectly shaped and smooth. And not even a hint of frizz in sight. Full marks for this one. R74.99

Retail Box’s 30th Secret Box consisted of an Indola Innova Hydrate Pack and the box retailed for R300.

The secret hint for this box was ‘Moisturise and gently cleanse your hair with this Trio’ and that is exactly what it does.

I’ve never heard of this brand before so I was curious to see how it performs. So here’s what I think:

Indola Innova Hydrate Shampoo 300ml R179

They say the Indola Innova Hydrate Shampoo is a gentle shampoo that can be used daily to cleanse and moisturise. It contains bamboo extract, sweet almond oil and provitamin B5 to hydrate hair, add shine and strengthen. I can’t comment on strengthening yet (but I’m hoping as my locks need it!), but it does tick the boxes in the hydration and shine department. This shampoo creates a lot of foam and you really need very little to get the job done. It leaves my hair feeling soft and clean. I like it a lot.

Indola Innova Hydrate Bi-Phase Conditioner 250ml R179

The Indola Innova Hydrate Bi-Phase Conditioner is my favourite of the 3. This leave-in conditioner is formulated with bamboo extract, pro-vitamin B5, hydrolysed wheat protein and other ingredients to restore and repair hair. It softens my hair, helps to create beautiful curls and makes detangling super easy. It also works very well on Cara’s hair. This is a winner and I will be repurchasing when this one runs out. Tip: Remember to shake the bottle well before use.

Indola Innova Hydrate Light Treatment 200ml R207

This treatment is very light and I think it will make an awesome treat for any hair type. It smells lovely and leaves my hair feeling soft and nourished without weighing it down at all.
